Tom and Diane Kruger were both raised on the farm, grew up involved in 4-H, Tom also in the FFA (Future Farmers of America). They were high school sweethearts who married in 1979 receiving a pig for a wedding present, it was their start in the farming business. However agriculture is more than a business; it is a way of life. Learning to care for the land and all things growing is deeply instilled in this farming family.
The Kruger's raised two sons on "The Home Place" that was purchased in 1948 by Diane's grandparents. It is still their home today, with hope that yet another generation will choose to carry on the tradition of nurturing the soil. They are now teaching grandchildren the joy of country living.
When the opportunity arose to start a new venture with honeybees, it simply seemed like a good fit. Out of that decision Nature's Honey Tree has evolved. Today maple trees in the woods behind the barn are tapped for maple syrup. Busy bees are buzzing around the farm and sweet honey is being bottled. May your family enjoy this wholesome harvest from nature!
Attention to Detail
Our Russian and Italian bees buzz across acre after acre of Ohio farmland, pollinating local plants and starting the honey-making process. They are hard workers too: Honeybees fly 50,000 miles and tap over 2,000,000 flowers to get just one pound of honey! That is when our work begins.
The result?
The result?
No additives. No corn syrup. No fillers.
Just 100% pure, all-natural honey made the way it used to be -- with strict quality control for the purest, freshest honey around.
And because plastic bottles may leach harmful chemicals (see the Mayo Clinic's explanation here), we hand-pour honey into glass jars that pay homage to Mr. Charles Muth, a beekeeper from Cinncinati, Ohio in the mid 1800's.
Our bees may have covered enough distance to travel around our planet - twice - for you, it's never been easier to get your hands on the purest honey imaginable, turning family meals into feasts and tired recipes into family favorites.

Old-Fashioned Maple Harvest
It might seem old-fashioned, but we still bundle up, walk through the woods, and put taps in our trees, one by one.
These trees have been a part of our family for over 60 years, and our friends say they make the best syrup.
Once we've harvested our sap, we work with maple experts who use old fashioned ways to cook the sap down.
Once you've tasted pure syrup, it's impossible to go back.

Made to Perfection
Temperature plays a huge role in the rich flavor we've built our reputation on.
One degree too hot, and maple syrup turns to rock candy.
One degree too cold, and the texture is off.
Precise temperature is important to us so that we can bring you maximum flavor and freshness.
Finally, we hand-bottle and seal our maple syrup in glass bottles. We preserve the flavor - you get to enjoy it!
